New Xbox 360 protection, new games not playable
Yeah, 12 hours ago, the first ucplayable ISO on iX 1.5 firmwares was released under Major.League.BaseBall.2K9.USA.READNFO.XBOX360-x360inT (nfo here h**p://www.nyrpowered.net/viewnfo.php?nfo=Major.League.BaseBall.2K9.USA.READ NFO.XBOX360-x360inT)
As x360inT says in the nfo, there is another video partition on the ISO, and the iX 1.5 stealth firmware can't run it since didn't pass the check, the only way to play it seems to be downgrading to 1.4/1.41 NO stealth, so very risky for live...
C4E said the team are woking on iX 1.6, so patienca guys ;)
PD: Havks and more games seem to come with the new video partition, so will be unplayable too by now.

Apparently HAWX doesn't work either.. so we have 2 games that don't work so far...
It shouldn't take long for iXtreme 1.6 to come out since C4E said it's just a minor issue which is fixable.

Been reading on other forums and it looks like it should be ready by next week. Also with a Big release like Resident Evil 5 it will more than likely have the same method video partition.  |

Let's hope they don't see these types of threads. I don't remember the last time my Xbox was foiled by a protection system. Even a video partition doesn't seem like it will take that long to get a fix for it.

fix it's coming probably this week, and RE5 don't have the partition, so you have a great game to play while waiting for a fix :)

Oh well gotta wait for the Fix. Just flashed 5 xboxs last week and now gotta reflash em ugh.
Also will finaly have to upgrade my Benq drive. Just like last time got mine flash to 1.4 and a week later 15 comes out lol

[02:10:06] <+c4eva> ix1.51 for sammy,benq,liteon under going initial testing, full wave 3 support!
[02:13:53] <+c4eva> was quicker to do 1.51 now, then a 1.6 after this, to get the games booting again on ix!
[02:16:23] <+c4eva> working on hitachi ix1.51 now, end of week hopefully!

one question from one with not so much understanding about the whole cracking / firmeware drive stuff:
is there a method to get the fix on xbox for noobs? (like burning on a dvd or usb device)
or do we HAVE to flash the whole thing?

if you want to use live, you need to update, if you are banned or don't want to use live, you can use this method to modify the new isos deleting the 3rd partidion and making it playable on old firmwares:

and yes if you wish to play downloaded (or backed up) games you will need to flash the firmware on your 360, the method of flashing depends on what model drive is in your 360 |
